What we work on
Cognitive-communication
For adults dealing with memory, attention, or processing difficulties that get in the way of communicating clearly. The work is practical and aimed at the situations that actually matter in your day.
Accent modification
Being understood more easily in the settings you choose. An accent is not a disorder and there is nothing about it to fix. This is about clarity in specific situations, and it is a very achievable goal.
Professional communication coaching
Verbal presence and delivery for people who lead, present, teach, or sell. When your expertise is strong but your message is not reaching others the way it should, there are practical ways to improve it, and that is where we can help.
Who this is the right fit for
Adults who want to work with one experienced clinician rather than whoever is next on a rota, who want their sessions built around a specific goal, and who would rather pay directly than have a plan decide how many sessions they are allowed.
It is a poor fit if in-network insurance coverage is what makes therapy possible for you. TimeWise is direct pay, and you should know that before you book rather than after.
Why this is different from a clinic or hospital program
Hospital and clinic-based therapy is usually driven by a benefits table. Number of sessions, length of each, and which goals count as medically necessary are all determined by somebody who has never met you.
Here the sessions are as long as they need to be, the goals are the ones you name, and there is no authorization to wait for before starting. You also work with the same clinician every time, which matters more in adult therapy than most people expect, because you are not re-explaining your history every few weeks.
For referring professionals
TimeWise accepts referrals from physicians, neurologists, occupational therapists, case managers, and other speech-language pathologists across Texas and Georgia. Availability is generally immediate, because there is no authorization process and no waitlist.
Reports are shared with your permission, and we are glad to coordinate with the rest of a care team.
A note if you have Medicare
Please raise it on the first call. It is better established in the first fifteen minutes than after you have booked.
